Moon Lake Village

After Moon Lake Elementary closed in 2021, the Town of Mentone took over the school campus on the eastern side of the city limits. In 2022 they began developing the campus as Moon Lake Village, a collection of shops, studios, and offices.

To get to Moon Lake Village, turn onto East River Road off of Alabama 117, right at Mentone Baptist Church. Behind the church you will find the parking lot for Moon Lake Village, which includes the large white school building, the gym, and small buildings between the school and the library.
